使い方How to use HIDDEN LOCAL
HIDDEN LOCAL は、都市を選んで、その都市にある店と空間を種別とジャンルで引く索引です。いまは 3 都市・688 件あります。
探し方
- 都市から
- 全件の索引は、地域、国、都市の順に並び、それぞれ件数の多い順です。都市を押すと、その都市の全件が出ます。収録が 50 件以上の都市には、種別ごとに 3 件ずつ並べた案内のページもあります
- 語で
- 店名、エリア、設計者、都市の名前で探せます。大文字と小文字、全角と半角、アクセント記号の有無（é と e）は同じに扱います。空白で区切ると、すべての語を含むものだけが出ます
- 絞り込み
- 種別、ジャンル、行けるかで絞れます。都市を選んでいるときはエリアでも絞れます。並べ方は、種別・ジャンル順、名前順、エリア順の3つです
- 選び手
- 「別々の2者以上が選んだ」を選ぶと、ガイドや賞、取扱店の一覧を出している別々の主体の、2者以上に載っている場所だけが出ます。同じ主体の一覧が二つあっても1者と数えます。数は順位や評価ではありません。各項目の説明にも「別々の N 者が選んだ」と添えています
- 共有
- 選んだ都市と条件はアドレスに残ります。そのままブックマークしたり、人に送ったりできます
種別とジャンル
- 食べる・飲む
- 料理のジャンルで分けています（イタリアン、日本料理、バー、世界の料理など）
- 泊まる・味わう
- ホテルとワイナリー。都市ページでは、ホテルはジャンルの代わりにエリアで分けています
- 空間デザイン
- 空間の用途で分けています（物販・店舗空間、飲食空間、宿泊空間、文化施設など）。用途が分からないものは「その他の空間」です
- 買う・着る
- セレクトショップと、ブランドの店
ひとつの場所が、いくつかの種別に入ることがあります。泊まれる受賞空間や、デザインの賞を取ったレストランなどです。そのときは説明の最後に「泊にも」「空間にも」と添えています。
ジャンルは HIDDEN LOCAL が付けたもので、出どころの一覧の分け方とは同じではありません。
行けるか
- 入れる
- 営業している店や宿、公開されている建物。飲食店と服の店は、営業中の店として載っているので、ここに入ります
- 条件つきで入れる
- 予約が要る、会員だけ、催しの日だけ、大学の構内、空港の搭乗口の先、といった条件のあるもの。条件は括弧で添えています
- 要確認
- いま入れるかを確かめきれていないもの
- 入れない・終了
- 中に入れない建物（住まいや社屋など）と、まだ建っていない計画
会期の終わった展示や、閉じたと分かっている店は載せていません。
都市とエリア
- 日本は市区町村で分けています。東京23区は「東京」にまとめ、エリアは区で示します
- 住所が分からず市区町村を決められなかった場所は、「〇〇県（市区町村不明）」にまとめ、国の一覧の最後に置いています
- ほかの国は都市で分け、エリアは地区の名前です。エリアの無い場所もあります
名前を押すと
店や施設の公式サイトに移ります。公式サイトが無い場所は、店名、エリア、都市の名前で Google マップを検索します。検索の結果が別の店を指すこともあるので、名前と住所を確かめてください。
都市のページの終わり
都市のページの最後には、その都市の宿をエリアごとの件数で並べています。宿が 5 件に満たない都市では、代わりに近い都市のページを並べます。近い都市は、公開している都市の中から、同じ国、同じ地域、それ以外の順に、距離の近いものを選んでいます。まだ無いときは、次に追加する都市を1行でお知らせします。
「広告」と付いたリンクと枠は広告です。載せるかどうかや並び順は、報酬とは関係なく決めています。扱いは広告についてに書いています。
データの古さ
データは 2026-10-18 時点のものです。店を閉じていたり、営業の形が変わっていたりすることがあるので、出かける前に公式サイトで確かめてください。出どころと、載せていないものは運営者情報に書いています。誤りはお問い合わせから知らせてください。
HIDDEN LOCAL は、出どころの一覧が新しくなったときと、所在地や名前の誤りを直したときに作り直しています。最近の更新は次のとおりです。「外した」は、出どころの一覧から消えたもの、閉じたと分かったもの、重なっていたものを1つにまとめたものです。「表記を直した」は、名前の文字の揺れ（全角と半角、記号の書き方など）を直したものです。

HIDDEN LOCAL is an index: pick a city, then look up the shops and spaces there by type and genre. It currently holds 688 entries across 3 cities. The site itself is in Japanese; this is a short summary.
Finding things
- The city list runs region, country, city, each ordered by number of entries. Cities with 50 or more entries also have a guide page showing 3 entries per group
- Search works on names, areas, designers and cities. Case, full-width and half-width characters, and accents (é and e) are treated as the same. Separate words with spaces to match all of them
- Filter by type, genre and whether you can go in; by area once a city is chosen. The address keeps your choices, so you can bookmark or share it
- "Chosen by two or more" keeps only places named by at least two separate publishers of guides, awards or stockist lists. Two lists from the same publisher count as one. It is not a ranking
Types, genres and access
- Four types: eat and drink (by cuisine), stay and taste (hotels and wineries; hotels are grouped by area on city pages), spatial design (by use), and shop and wear (select shops and brand stores). One place can belong to several types
- Genres are HIDDEN LOCAL's own and do not follow the source lists
- Access: open; open with conditions (booking, membership, event days, university campuses, airside at airports and so on); unconfirmed; and not open (buildings you cannot enter, and projects not yet built). Finished exhibitions and places known to have closed are not listed
Cities, areas and links
- Japan is divided by municipality. Tokyo's 23 wards are grouped as "Tokyo", with the ward as the area. Places whose municipality could not be determined are grouped per prefecture at the end of the country
- Selecting a name opens the place's official website, or a Google Maps search when there is none. The search may point to a different place, so check the name and address
- Each city page ends with its hotels counted by area, or, where a city has fewer than 5 hotels, with three nearby city pages (same country first, then same region, then anywhere, nearest first). Links and boxes marked "広告" are advertisements; they never change what is listed or the order. See Advertising
- Data as of 2026-10-18. The table in the Japanese section lists recent rebuilds: entries added, removed (dropped from the source lists, known to have closed, or merged duplicates), with a changed access status, and moved to the correct city.
